Medento General Terms of Use

Article 1: Purpose

The purpose of these “General Conditions of Use” (hereinafter “CGU”) is to provide the legal framework for the methods of providing the services of the medento.fr site (hereinafter the “Site”) and their use by the “User” (as defined in article 2).

The Site Editor reserves the right to unilaterally modify the content of these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Article 2: Definitions

The purpose of this clause is to define the essential terms of the CGU:

User content: the data transmitted by the User within the Site.
Publisher: the company the association under the law 1901 Medento, as indicated in the legal notices of the Site.
User: any person who uses the Site or one of the services offered by the Site.

Article 3: Access to Services

In particular, the Site allows the User free access to the following services:

Connection with the Medento multi-purpose health center (including appointments);
Establishment of contact with the Site Editor;
Job offers at the Medento multidisciplinary center;
Informational articles on dental and aesthetic treatments;
Photo gallery.

The Site is accessible free of charge anywhere to any User with internet access. All costs incurred by the User to access the service (computer hardware, software, Internet connection, etc.) are at the User's expense.

The Publisher uses all the means at its disposal to ensure quality access to services. Since the obligation is a matter of means, the Publisher does not undertake to achieve this result.

Any event due to a case of force majeure resulting in a malfunction of the network or server does not engage the responsibility of the Publisher or the host of the Site.

Access to the services of the Site may at any time be interrupted, suspended, modified without notice for maintenance or for any other case. The user undertakes not to claim any compensation following the interruption, suspension or modification of this contract.

Article 4: Intellectual property

The brands, logos, signs and any other content of the Site are protected by the Intellectual Property Code and more particularly by copyright. They are, unless otherwise specified, the exclusive property of the Site Editor.

No provision of the Terms of Use or mention on the Site may be interpreted as an assignment of intellectual property rights.

The User requests the prior authorization of the Publisher for any reproduction, publication, copy of the various contents.

The User undertakes to use the contents of the Site in a strictly private setting. Use of the content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

Article 5: Responsibility and Force Majeure

The information given on the Site is for information purposes only. Thus, the User assumes sole responsibility for the use of the information and content of this Site. The Site Editor cannot be held responsible for the harmful consequences resulting from the use by the User of the information on the Site.

Any use of the Site by the User causing him, directly or indirectly, damages, cannot engage the responsibility of the Site Editor.

Notwithstanding the previous developments, the Site cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure, unforeseeability or due to a third party.

Article 6: Hypertext links

Outgoing hypertext links are present on the Site, however the web pages to which these links lead do not in any way engage the responsibility of the Publisher who does not have control of these links.

The Site Editor cannot be held responsible for the content to which the User is referred by activating said hypertext links.

Article 7: Personal data

By browsing the Site, the Site Editor is likely to process the User's personal data. The latter is invited to read the Site's Privacy Policy by clicking here .

Article 8: Cookies

By browsing the Site, the User is likely to place “cookies” on his terminal. The User is invited to read the Site's Cookies Policy (EU) by clicking here .

Article 9: Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction

These CGU are executed and interpreted in accordance with French law. In the event of a dispute, the User will first contact the Site Editor to find an amicable solution. Otherwise, only the French courts under the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal will be competent.
